Beh, prima poi quel giorno arriver\u00e0. Nel frattempo anche il Manchester’s Finest<\/em> celebra lo street food \u00a0palermitano senza resistere alla tentazione di menzionare il Padrino.\u00a0

Un pezzo giornalistico che suona pi\u00f9 come un richiamo per i foodies da tutto il mondo, piuttosto che un semplice report sul suo menu vacanziero. Il Manchester’s Finest conta oltre 100k followers su Facebook,<\/strong> insomma, mica Topo Gigio and friends! Il Manchester’s Finest in Palermo!<\/p>\n

AL MERCATO CON STREATY<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

L’articolo inizia con una precisazione “Non c’\u00e8 da avere alcuna paura nell’esplorazione dei mercati di Palermo, ma meglio andare con una guida per non perdersi alcuna specialit\u00e0 di strada!<\/strong>“. Un consiglio netto e diretto, e noi applaudiamo Tim per questo, perch\u00e8 il mercato \u00e8 tanto bello, profumato e colorato, ma solo i locali possono regalare il cosiddetto effetto Matrix ai turisti. E anche questa volta, Streaty ha contribuito alla buona riuscita del pezzo guidando Tim per i banchi di street food del centro storico. E anche questa volta, i fritti dei Dainotti hanno lasciato il segno!<\/p>\n

ARANCINA VS ARANCINO…ANCHE A MANCHESTER!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ebben si, anche il Manchester’s finest dedica qualche riga alla questione Arancina o Arancino? ma Tim calma subito gli animi lasciando intendere che la risposta sta nella qualit\u00e0 e non nel suo nome! Ma Tim merita il caloroso applauso quando tuona perentorio “questi sono i veri souvenir da mettere in valigia!<\/strong>“. Clap clap clap!<\/p>\n

MEUSA? FATE A MENO DELLA TRADUZIONE!<\/span><\/h2>\n

“Meglio assaggiarla prima di conoscere la traduzione in inglese” eheheh! Tim mette in guardia i lettori inglesi, perch\u00e8 quando si parla di interiora, non tutti sono pronti a lanciarsi con spirito di avventura. Eppure, dovete sapere che il panino con la milza \u00e8 generalmente molto apprezzato tra i clienti stranieri<\/strong> di Streaty! Quindi, appoggiamo le parole di Tim, soprattutto quanto riporta le sue impressioni palatali, al cospetto del banco dei F.lli Basile, con un sonoro “offal perfection”, che possiamo tradurre come “perfezione budellosa! Tim la sa lunga e aggiunge “meglio accompagnare la Meusa con qualcosa di forte”.<\/p>\n

BROSCIA, PIZZA E SPRITZ, E PER FINIRE…SFERRACAVALLO!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ovviamente, quando si parla di dolcezza a Palermo, non si parla mai di coccole e cortesie, bens\u00ec della mitica broscia col gelato! Tim esalta il gelato della Gelateria La Kala senza omettere la sua iniziale titubanza “lo so che suona un p\u00f2 strano, brioche col gelato! ma vi assicuro che vi conquister\u00e0!”<\/strong>. Ormai mezzo mondo ha celebrato la cucina di strada palermitana, ma quest’articolo ha qualcosa di nuovo, infatti il Manchester’s Finest, guidato dalle sagge dita di Tim, celebra anche la pizza palermitana, bisbigliando che “non \u00e8 facile trovare una pizza non degna di tal nome!”. E che dire dello spritz Siciliano dei Castigamatti che sostituisce l’Aperol con il liquore al mandarino<\/strong>. Interessante!
Ma Tim va oltre l’ovviet\u00e0 e anche oltre i confini del centro storico. Ed ecco che sulle righe del Manchester’s Finest appare anche il borgo marinaro di Sferracavallo<\/strong>, ma non per rimarcare la bellezza del suo panorama, piuttosto per esaltare la bont\u00e0 dei frutti di mare del R\u00ecstorantino da Michele.<\/p>\n
